1. 2. Does that 3rd picture of the road sloping down into the river seem a bit strange to you? Well, that's probably because it's technically not 'real'. And what I mean by that is that is the image was taken of Google Earth. Their software uses both 2D satellite imagery and 3D terrain over each other and when the images don't line up properly it often makes structures such as bridges to be projected down into the below terrain. 1. School is over. Twice. It was over on Friday because that was our last full day and it was over today because we had a little assembly sorta thing. The last week was awesome because no one really did anything, each class was like having a competition to see who could get the best class picture. My chemistry class won that hands down. We did a Hadouken picture out on the field which is basically this new internet craze where people take pictures of someone doing a Hadouken from street fighter. We got this boy who is basically the butt of all our jokes to lay down on the table and then we all stood around him with scalpels and tweezers like we were dissecting him :D
 
2. Have an interview at this posh college in about an hour as part of the enrolling process. And now I have to decide whether I wanna stay at my school or go here next year. Le sigh. Time to flip a coin...
 
3. Me and Fareeha still haven't solved the mystery of the missing tennis ball. We hit it up onto the roof of the garage and then 2 days later it disappeared. My guess is that the wind blew it off but I can't find it anywhere...
 
4. You know things are getting serious when I get a desk in my room to study upon. First exam on the 13th is French. Not sounding too obnoxious, but I know I will get an A* in it, my problem is that I want 100% on it. Because all the past papers we've been doing, I've gotten 100% on all of them except for 2 which I got 99%. IA if I do that in the real exam I should get the highest in my year and beat this boy who is really clever and is always on my tail.
 
5. I got an A* in my geography coursework which is SO EXCITING because this is the first A* I have gotten in geo ever and means I can possibly get an A* overall rather than my predicted A.
 
6. Looking for Alaska was a pile of crap wrapped in wonderful comments from Tumblr users everywhere. No time to rant, but seriously what the hell was that book? EXCITING NEWS. INSURGENT IS IN MY BAG RIGHT NOW. WAITED FOR THIS BOOK FOR SO LONG. DYING. CRYING. AND HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED READING YET.
 
7. Don't mistake this surprise appearance on polyvore as a regularity. I'm serious about keeping away, I just got excited and had too many things to say which resulted in this. I may not reply to comments soon, but thank you very much in advance :DD
 
8. Watched TDK the other day and was just punched in the face by the realisation that THE DARK KNIGHT IS THE BEST FILM TO EVER EXIST OMG. JUST EVERYTHING. IT WAS AMAZING. I mean I've watched it before and remembered the plot and everything but I'd forgotten all the little things that add to it and together it is the best thing ever. I'm not sure how many of you remember the blog post from when I came back from watching TDKR but to sum it up it was basically 'OMG I can't' 700 times over. Well imagine what I would blog if I had the time about TDK which is so much better than TDKR. TDKR is NOTHING in comparison. Noooothiiiiiiing.
 
9. My destiny just got pissed on by about 800 people .-. @tell-me-more expect a hurricane in your pm's because there's a storm coming, Miss Gill. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us. (Hell yeah for Batman quotes)

11. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Seriously. I can't. What the hell did I just do. So the interview was normal but then we had to write an essay on any of the three given topics. The topics were, 'The best day of my life', 'An experience that changed my life' and 'My role model'. I chose the second one and because I'm not into sentimental bs, I have no experiences that changed my life. Like seriously, at my age and being a very ordinary person, I have yet to meet my life changing epiphany moment. But anyway, guess what I wrote about, I kid you not, I walked in and wrote a full essay on polyvore and the profound effect it has had on me (?!) Ahahahahaha I still just can't believe that I did that, of all the things I could talk about, I chose that. I never gave my url but I wonder how hard it is to Google polyvore and Maleeha as key words... meh, freedom of speech, that school is way too posh for me. But I did get an offer and now it is possible that I shall be going there next year. But seriously, the amount of bs I pulled out of my ass for that essay. Wow.

You know what, after the absolutely amazing weather we have been having this week, I welcome a weekend of rain because that is the only thing that will keep me indoors and focused on my revision rather than running around outside in the grass. Man, I've /always/ wanted to find a huge field with long corny things and run around having a water fight with war paint on my face and feathers in my hair... I think I'm just fantasising about the Anna Sun music video... Excuse the language but this bit.ly/ZqaKsj perfectly sums up my feelings :D
 
Man I love that picture in the top left soo much, the makeup is amazing!! And for some reason the pic reminds me of @istylista, I feel like it's something which I would find on your blog which I love by the way. And I know I used the picture of the bike in my last set, but I love it so much that I just had to. I don't really make bright colourful sets so this was kinda weird, even though it's not that colourful. It took me sooo long to decide whether to use a neon pink Simone Rocha skirt or yellow shorts. I still don't know what this set looks like right now because I'm typing this up but I haven't decided which item to use...

Guys, I've found my summer jam. Actually I found it like 2 months ago and have had it playing in the background almost every single day. It's a remix of a song by Phoenix and I just ugh love it so much. Like this isn't just my jam, it's my bread, butter, toast and mango juice. NEW MONSTERS UNIVERSITY TRAILER IS SO GREAT OMG.
 
I'm currently addicted to the game Icomania which is basically this game where you are given a very simplified or section of a picture which represents a common icon such as a person, character, brand, country etc and you have to guess what it is. So I was playing this game and I realised just how clever the marketing experts are. Because I like to think I'm some non-conformist who isn't affected by the media etc but then I got to this one level where they literally showed you three white lines on a black background and in about 0.001 seconds I knew that that was the Adidas logo. And then I freaked out because I realise I am on level 300-something and I am naming all these characters and brands and movies, many of which I have never actually seen but I know all these things about them. I seriously feel brainwashed, I mean how crazy is it that three lines represent a whole brand and their ethos and everything. Here's the picture actually 4pic1wordsolutions.com/adidas. It's so weird how everyday we are exposed to all these things and we just shrug them off, but subconsciously they are always in our mind and we can recognise them immediately. I kinda want to work in marketing now, imagine all the power I would have over people ahahaha. But seriously, this game made me realised I have seen way too many movies and know the names of way too many famous people, many of whom I don't even know what they look like. And as soon as I finish this blog I'm going to go right back and carry on playing because it's too addictive. Yeah, I suck, I know.
 
I've been having really crazy dreams lately. Some of them are pretty hilarious actually.
Dream 1: My cupboard was a portal to North Korea and there were all these tiny soldiers like the ones in Toy Story hiding behind the door and helping me defeat my crazy aunty who was a skinhead army guy tried to nuke my house...
Dream 2: I was in the car with some guy who had 4 traffic cones taped to his head?!
Dream 3: This one is probably slightly insensitive and will have the FBI on my case, but I'm going to go ahead because really, I don't mean anything by it. Wahay for not thinking before I speak... Anyway, I was the Boston Bomber and was setting fire to my head teacher's office. It seems really violent but it was actually a pretty chill dream. I was dragging my bedsheets across like some crop fields and there were people harvesting the crops and the sun was really nice and my bedsheets were so soft and fresh smelling and I was dragging them through oil on the floor so that they would set on fire. Then I went to go have tea in the attic and I got trapped underneath a bed and I don't think I got to the bit where I actually set fire to anything because I had to wake up. The field bit was actually really cool and if I could paint I would do a really awesome painting of that scene because it was awesome. But yeah.
Dream 4: The Waffle Truck disappeared. This will only make sense to about 2 people but it was more of a nightmare than a dream...

I always answer the same thing for this ahaha. Zara, Acne, Rag and Bone, Isabel Marant. Wait is Isabel Marant a brand or a designer. Is there a difference? There obviously is but...
 
9. If you could have ANY job you want, which would it be?
Ahaha, marketing remember ;) No, ever since I was young I have always, always, always, always wanted to be the voice actor for a villain in an animated movie. Or work in the animating studios. Chances of that happening are -450 so let's just move on to the next question.
 
10. What's your favourite movie from your childhood?
Mostly animated movies I guess, I remember The Incredible being super awesome because that was the first movie I ever saw in the cinemas and it was such an awesome experience :D

Haven't blogged on a Friday in soo long, I've missed this. (It's actually Sunday but I only just got time to post this now) Although I should mention here and now that basically after today and for the next 2 months-ish my appearances on poly will be kinda flaky. That's because I only have ten, yes TEN days of high school left ever. And to mark the end of school I'm lucky enough to have a months worth of final exams -_- So yeah, I've gotta get my head down and work although I'm saying this now, but I'm sure there that by next week I'll be back making sets and all. This is just a forewarning and advance apology for any unexplained long absences and being behind on your sets/messages/tags/group duties.
 
So how have you guys been? I feel like I haven't talked to you all in a while although I think I have... anyway I have so much to say and blah so get ready for things that aren't really that interesting but I need to tell you anyway.
 
Actually my first thing I think is pretty interesting. Basically, I am officially the proud owner of one item in this set. One designer item. One designer Michael Kors item. One designer Michael Kors bag. Aaaaah yes yes yes, I know, I can't even believe it. I was gifted the bag and when I first saw it I was just like i.imgur.com/Q4bI5.gif because it's the awesomest little bag and very similar to this one polyv.re/10qZKO0 which I have wanted for ages. I LOVE IT.
 
The Hunger Games trailer has got me all excited again. Like I go through phases of loving THG. Whenever I watch the movies again or read the books I get all hyped and then the hype slowly starts to settle down and then BAM OUT COMES THE TRAILER AND I AM JUST MAXIMUM EXCITED. Actually maximum - 2. Because there are two little things that annoyed me. Katniss' hair is the wrong colour. Like seriously I can't stop noticing it. Her hair in the first movie was perfect, like that auburn, chestnutty colour and I read somewhere that the stylists mixed together lots of dyes and layered on the dye to get the exact colour. This time her hair is so dark it's practically black. It's minor but I can't handle it, her hair is supposed to be brown. Oh and the other thing is it's all very tense and all until the bit where the Peacekeeper pulls out a gun and she's like go ahead. I found that pretty anti-climatic really. But apart from that I'm so excited and I showed my dad the trailer and he's all chill while I'm standing behind him bouncing in anticipation for November 22nd. Gonna watch it on premiere night, just like always :D
 
THE NIGHT VISIONS DELUXE EDITION IS PERFECT!! The extra songs are just freaking awesome, my favourite probably being Selene. It's so cool because I have never had an album where I like every single song and then this comes out and it's just perfection. I mean Mylo Xyloto came close but Rihanna ruined it plus that one weird song. Another song stuck in my head at the moment is King and Lionheart by Of Monsters and Men. I love their music videos so much, the stories and the way they play out are awesome. Oh and Pompeii by Bastille has been swimming around my thoughts for a while, I love the bot at the beginning, idk always reminds me of Lion King...
 
I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I've realised something. The reason I hate English so much is because there is no right answer. That's why maths and sciences make so much more sense to me, because everything is logical and there is always a right answer. If you get something wrong you can pinpoint exactly what it was and improve and eventually get the right answer. But English is so subjective and interpretive and to me, a whole load of bs. My grade simply depends on the examiner and whether they are in a good mood or not. Which pisses me off especially because so far I'm not going to be getting the A* I want for English Lit in summer. So read into that what you will, I am a very linear, logical person that uses the mathsy part of my brain (I can't remember which side) but then again I'm sure I have a slight affinity to the creative side too otherwise I wouldn't be on polyvore in the first place. Meh, only 8 more English lessons and 2 exams and then never shall I have to endure that again. (The awkward moment when I've actually been enjoying English this week but I'm sure the feeling will wear off come Monday and I get a crap result on my poetry analysis.)
 
I was in Waterstones this morning (I love the name and smell of this shop) and there was a whole section dedicated to Manga and it was like heaven. There were so many there that I wanted to read, One Piece, Naruto, Soul Eater, FMA and Blue Exorcist. Gah so many things to do and so little time. Except this summer shall be the longest summer of my life with 6 weeks more than everyone else so I can't wait!!

The weather is absolutely gorgeous today and we played the first cricket match of the summer... and I already lost 2 balls. I'm like The Hulk, I don't even earlier my own power because I don't even hit the ball that hard and then BAM the ball is in some far away bush or somebody else's garden. Gonna need to go find those soon... I love the sun, it shines through my curtains in the morning and there aint no need for an alarm clock, I wake up at exactly 7am in a good mood ready for the day and that sounds cheesy but it feels good ok.
 
Disney announced that from 2015 there shall be a new Star Wars movie every year and I don't know how I feel about this... I think they're going to be doing an Avengers style thing with the main trilogy and then separate movie on each of the characters etc. Here's to hoping they're good, but we all know come premiere night I'm going to be standing there excited as ever.

I can't believe I've only know you for a total of 10 months, like what, crazy huh? It feels like forever!! But meeting you has been one of the awesomest things ever because we have had a load of fun together yo. Like I met my carrot buddy, my double chin buddy and the queen of gifs ;DD
 
I still remember when the Euro's were on and we were sitting there watching the same match and cheering on the same team and commentating it all in the comments of your set ahahha.
